Omega 3 may not help prevent dementia

Older people who took omega-3 fish oil supplements for 3.5 years did not appear to reduce their odds of losing cognitive function, British researchers said.

Study leader Emma Sydenham at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and colleagues gathered evidence from three high-quality trials comparing the effects of omega-3 fatty acids taken… Omega 3 may not help prevent dementia
